A few more days to our snowboarding trip!!!

I can finally test out my new snowboard!!! 

My first experience of celebrating Christmas in July… I don't know why I didn't do this earlier!!!

I always felt like Christmas is coming when it's Winter… but never thought about celebrating Christmas in July… 

I remember my first Christmas in Australia… It was hot and extreamly HOT… it didn't feel like Christmas… 

Yes, Japan is winter Christmas and that's how I grew up celebrating… in a cold cooold weather… sometimes with snow… White Christmas is just beautiful!!!

Everyone rug up with big jackets and jumpers… stay closed to each other to keep warm for one another… All the lighting on the brunches… "Oshiruko" (Japanese hot sweet) after candle light church… follow by warm family dinner…

But, in Australia… it's so hot you don't want no candles!! and you don't want to hold on to anyone… it's just too hot!!! People go down to the beach… and family BBQ… just not romantic…

This year we were invited to friend's place… we had nice meal with classical music… it was really nice…

And, we all bought ourselves a present… hehehe.. It was a little strange because we knew what's inside before we open it… 

We bought some thermal wear ready for the snowboard trip!!! We wanted to wrap our snowboard but it was in the shop for a hot wax!!!

Such a nice feeling to celebrate Christmas in Winter!!

Suddenly feel like making some bag… I've never made a bag before but I thought I give it a try…

hmm… It was harder than I thought but it was fun… My first ever bag is image of???? Japanese style… So, I chose Drangonfly print… just from lindcraft… The bottom of the bag has hard paper to keep the shape… but this made it hard for me to put it tother… many parts was hand sew…

I thought I update my other things I've made for archive… but photo was bad… and I couldn't be bother ironning it… so just one of my favorite dress..

I've never made anything from patern… so they are very "my way" of making clothes… there are no technique… but it's just for fun… I've worn this a few time and I really like the way they flow…
