After some further researching… I've decided that I will get SLR first… As much as I like Lomo… It is not the best time to invest on toy camera at this stage…

Now, the decision comes down to 2 choices… Nikon D80 or Canon EOS 40D… The truth is these two are not at the same level comparison… Canon 40D is at the better level and I should really be comparing to Nikon D200 or even D300… but it is all comes down to the budget…

If I can find the Canon 40D at the good price… I would probably go for it… Otherwise, for the price and quality, I can get the lens and body of Nikon D80 for the same price of Canon 40D "just body".

Nikon D80 sounds like the winner!!!

This way, I think I can get used to the SLR first then invest on the better Camera at later years… (Shiiiiii, don't tell my hubby that… he'll kill me… hehe)

With lomo, once the business is stable… I can probably buy it as incentives to myself… I would like to get a fisheye as well… it's so cool!!!

My hubby was not very happy with me buying the camera… He doesn't see the difference between the compact camera… so, I had to beg and sacrificed 2 years of birthday and Christmas presents to get him agree on buying a new camera!!!! Yey!!!!

Today, I found out about Lomo… from my friend's blog… She had some amazing photos on her blog and it was taken by lomo lc-a..

Before today, I never knew such a brand camera existed..

Lomo takes such a beautiful photos… I am absolutely in love with it!!!

I want to try and take some photos, some beautiful photos… My husband probably don't know this but I was interested in photos and cameras since I was in primary school. I wouldn't say I'm good at taking photos… but it is one another thing that I really enjoying doing.

My first and last SLR was the old analog Nikon my uncle gave it to me when I was in high school. Me and my friend jump on our bike and go around taking some pictures when I was in Japan… Nikon is still here with me… but it no longer working for quite some times…

I was actually looking to invest on another SLR digital… which is probably going to cost me over $1k… Having holiday planned on next couple of weeks and resigned from current job doesn't help this situation… On the other hand… Lomo probably only cost me about couple of hundreds… It seems like a good idea!!!

The problem is.. though, it doesn't seem to be easy to get one here in Australia…

Should I try and get one from oversea or should I wait and invest on SLR first… decisions.. decisions..
